What type of payments do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, personal checks, certified checks and money orders. Our recommendation is that you send non credit card payments via FedEx or UPS and track delivery.

Do you offer a Money Back Guarantee?

Abs, abs, abs!!!No. A typical money back guarantee requires that you obligate yourself before you decide whether a product meets your needs. Think about it… why would you purchase something you were not 100% sure you wanted? Not to mention the hassle some companies put you through to actually get the refund.

We offer something better. Our 30 day no obligation evaluation allows you to decide whether FirmPOS is the right fit without purchasing anything.

Absolutely. If you are in the United States or Canada, we can call you and answer any questions you have about the product. Simply call or send us an email with your call back number.

Does FirmPOS run on Windows 7?

Yes. FirmPOS runs great on Windows 7.

How about Windows 7 (64 bit)?

Yes. Be sure to get Windows 7 (64) Professional.

Does FirmPOS run on Windows 95/98?

No. Windows 95/98 operating systems are no longer supported due to the antiquated nature of the technology.

Can I try FirmPOS before I buy it?

Certainly! We offer a free evaluation of FirmPOS.  It can be downloaded from this website or shipped to you at no charge.

We care about your experience with our product so please let us know what we can do to assist you during your evaluation.

Once you purchase a license, the evaluation will run as a retail version. All data entered during the evaluation will be there as well.

Will you ship outside the USA?

Do you offer a printed manual?

Yes. We include a 200+ page manual with all retail orders. We also include it in PDF format on the CD. It can also be downloaded from our website.

What kind of hardware do I need to run FirmPOS?

FirmPOS was designed to use a standard computer and printer. Nothing fancy is required. Please take a look at our Product Requirements page for up to date recommendations.

Can I use a barcode scanner?

Yes. FirmPOS was designed to work great with or without a barcode scanner. FirmPOS should work with any keyboard wedge type but we recommend one model, the Metrologic Voyager. This is because it works right out of the box. No programming is necessary.

Can I use a receipt printer and cash drawer?

Absolutely. FirmPOS will work using most any cash drawer that will interface using the Star TSP600/TSP300 receipt printer.

We recommend and use the APG Series cash drawer interfaced with the Star TSP600/TSP300. These work excellent with FirmPOS, are reasonably priced and very durable.

Does FirmPOS process credit cards?

Yes. FirmPOS offers real time credit card processing support. It uses a secure payment gateway that is PCI DSS compliant. Transactions are processed quickly and safely.
