proud to announce it has included T-Max tanning
bed support into FirmPOS Club Management
Software.
This new module called the “eMax Manager” will
allow health clubs to control their T-Max
connected tanning beds directly from FirmPOS.
“FirmPOS is the only Club Management solution
that offers native T-Max support at no extra
charge to it's customers. eMax is compatible
with all versions of the T-Max Manager.” says
Jason Burgess, a senior developer at eSynaptic.
eMax enables the club to directly control up to
128 tanning beds from visit or minute based
packages. A detailed log tracks all bed activity
and shows management what employees are doing
behind the scenes. eMax even keeps track of bed
maintenance and bulb life.
Pricing and Availability:
The eMax Manager will be released to customers
on April 25th 2005. It will be included with our
Professional License at no additional charge.

FirmPOS no longer
supports the BioCert Authenticator sold by
Biometrics Direct.
eSynaptic Response
Ltd. has discontinued support for all BioCert
Biometric products starting in build 143a.
FirmPOS now exclusively supports our eMetric
Gateway for biometrics.
The BioCert Enterprise Version and the eMetric
Gateway both use the Secugen SecuSearch License.
We believe this license will work seamlessly
with the eMetric Gateway. Because the license
was sold by Biometrics Direct and ultimately
belongs to Secugen, we will not guarantee any
license not sold by eSynaptic.
All users with BioCert Pro versions will
need to purchase the eMetric Upgrade License to
continue using biometric check-in. This
Biometric Direct license is incompatible with
the eMetric Gateway. Please contact us for more
information.

announce our technology alliance with the
SecuGen Corporation. Starting in Version 4.3
(build 127b) FirmPOS now natively supports
fingerprint check-in using our
eMetric Gateway
module. This is an optional module for FirmPOS
that works exclusively with
SecuGen products.

Jason Burgess Software Design, Ltd (JBSDL) owner of
FirmPOS Software has licensed
eSynaptic Response
Ltd to exclusively provide sales and technical
support services for the product.
eSynaptic is launching an aggressive new Response
program to offer technical support to FirmPOS customers.
Starting April 15, FirmPOS customers can receive
telephone support during the hours of 9am and 6pm EST.
and 24 hour online support. eSynaptic will offer Remote
Desktop Response and real time chat from the FirmPOS
website. The support number will be a toll call but
eSynaptic will offer an efficient “call back” service
that will assume the long distance charges.
eSynaptic also will offer a more aggressive retail model
to perspective customers.
Although JBSDL will continue to develop the product, it
will no longer provide sales or service for FirmPOS.
eSynaptic will assume all retail and service functions.
All previous support agreements will be honored by
eSynaptic until agreement expiration. Further support
will then need to be obtained from eSynaptic.
