System Requirements
FirmPOS was designed for Windows® XP. For best results, we recommend using
Windows® XP Professional. Make sure that you have all Windows®
service packs and updates installed.
This is what we
recommend to run FirmPOS:

(1GB recommended)
Windows Version
Microsoft Windows XP With at least Service

Microsoft Windows Vista - 32 bit version
(1-2GB RAM recommended for Vista)
Video Display
Video
display of 1024x768 (or better) running 16bit colors
Network Interface
A
network is not required to use FirmPOS.
However, Windows® Peer networks are
supported.
We do not recommend that you use
Windows® 2003 for hosting the data file. The
best way to maximize FirmPOS performance
over a network is by running Windows XP
Professional on a fast workstation.
